Use the DAV Hospital Service Coordinator Directory to contact your nearest HSC for information or assistance about getting a ride.
DAV operates a fleet of vehicles around the country to provide free transportation to and from VA medical facilities for injured and ill veterans. Volunteer drivers operate these vehicles at more than 247 VA locations around the country.
Since the program’s inception in 1987, DAV departments and chapters have donated 3,833 vehicles and Ford Motor Co. has donated 269 vehicles at a cost of more than $100 million.

Because the DAV Transportation Network is staffed by volunteers it is unable to cover every community. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer driver, please let us know.
