ERLANGER, Ky. – DAV (Disabled American Veterans) has named NTT Global Data Centers, a telecommunications company from Sacramento, California, its Midsize Employer of the Year. Representatives from NTT Global will formally accept the award on stage Aug. 10 during the 2025 DAV and Auxiliary National Convention in Las Vegas.
Beating out numerous other companies in the midsize category (organizations with between 250 and 999 employees), NTT Global was selected for the national-level honor because of the multiple programs in place that support veteran employees in every stage of their career.
NTT Global’s workforce comprises over 21% veteran associates, and the company partners with other organizations to identify, attract and recruit even more veterans. Strategic partners include the local Transition Assistance Program (TAP) and DAV’s virtual and in-person veteran job fairs.
For new hires in their first role outside of the military, NTT Global offers a sponsorship program to help them adjust to their new work environment. During onboarding, all new hires are introduced to the company’s Veteran Employee Resource Group (VET ERG) to connect with fellow veterans for integration support.
“NTT Global exemplifies dedication to the military community and provides a blueprint of veteran hiring for all employers to follow,” said DAV National Commander Daniel Contreras. “We’re thrilled to recognize NTT Global and the professional landscape they’ve created to help veterans thrive.”
