DAV EG America FundraiserERLANGER, Ky. – As a result of a national campaign, EG America and its 1,700-plus convenience stores raised $752,000 for DAV (Disabled American Veterans), a charity dedicated to empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity.

Throughout November, guests at select EG America convenience stores donated $1, $5 or an amount of their choosing to DAV during checkout. This was the fifth year that EG America chose to support DAV and their programs for veterans and their families.

“We are grateful to EG America’s longstanding commitment to DAV’s mission,” said Barry Jesinoski, CEO and national adjutant of DAV. “Since 2019, EG America and their generous guests have chosen to support our nation’s disabled heroes and their families. We are immensely appreciative of their kindness.”

“We are honored to support the critical services and benefits DAV provides to veterans across the nation,” said EG America President John Carey. “Thanks to the tremendous generosity of our guests and the collective efforts of our team members, EG America has surpassed all previous years’ donation amounts, raising more than $3 million for DAV since the beginning of our partnership.”

About DAV
DAV empowers veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. It is dedicated to a single purpose: keeping our promise to America’s veterans. DAV does this by ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them, fighting for the interests of America’s injured heroes on Capitol Hill, providing employment resources to veterans and their families, and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of veterans transitioning back to civilian life. DAV, a nonprofit organization with more than 1 million members, was founded in 1920 and chartered by the U.S. Congress in 1932. Learn more at DAV.org.
