ERLANGER, Ky. – DAV (Disabled American Veterans) is proud to announce a new partnership with Cornerstone Caregiving, a leading non-medical home care provider with more than 270 locations nationwide. Through the collaboration, Cornerstone Caregiving has pledged both financial support and in-home care resources in aid of the DAV Caregivers Support program. Through the program, veterans and their families receive tailored caregiver support and resources—including individual support from a trained specialist—at no cost.
Launched in 2023, DAV Caregivers Support provides online resources, risk screening, digital tools and personalized care plans to veterans who are caregivers and to those caring for veterans. To date, over 1,600 caregivers have received resources to help improve relationships and reduce stress, depression and other adverse health outcomes commonly experienced by caregivers.
“Caregivers, often family members, provide essential support so care receivers can age with dignity and can remain in their own home as long as possible,” said DAV National Adjutant and CEO Barry Jesinoski. “An estimated 8.3 million veterans are currently 65 or older, highlighting the immediate need for DAV Caregivers Support. Thanks to Cornerstone Caregiving, we can lighten the burden for more caregivers and care receivers.”
Headquartered in Erlanger, Kentucky, DAV provides an expansive range of nationwide programs, such as benefits assistance, transportation to and from VA medical appointments, employment assistance and more – all at no cost to veterans and their families.
“Cornerstone Caregiving remains so thankful for the incredible sacrifice and service by our nation’s veterans,” said Michael Hillman, Co-Founder of Cornerstone Caregiving. “Partnering with DAV is our chance to give back to our outstanding service members who answered the call to serve our country. We are grateful for all they have done.”

About DAV
DAV empowers veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. It is dedicated to a single purpose: keeping our promise to America’s veterans. DAV does this by ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them, fighting for the interests of America’s injured heroes on Capitol Hill, providing employment resources to veterans and their families, and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of veterans transitioning back to civilian life. DAV, a nonprofit organization with nearly 1 million members, was founded in 1920 and chartered by the U.S. Congress in 1932.
