Tonight, we celebrate an American hero.

Retired Navy Capt. Royce Williams will receive the Medal of Honor for his extraordinary heroism during the Korean War—when he single-handedly engaged and downed multiple enemy MiG-15s in one of the most remarkable aerial battles in U.S. history.

We’re especially proud to share that he is a DAV member of Chapter 70 in California.
