ANNOUNCEMENTThe scheduled location of the 2021 DAV and Auxiliary National Convention—the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno, Nevada—has canceled the July 24–27 event due to the state’s COVID-19 restrictions for events and meetings. The convention will now take place July 31–August 3 (the Day of Inspiration will take place on Thursday, July 29) at the JW Marriott Tampa Water Street and the Tampa Marriott Water Street in Tampa, Florida.
GSR Cancelations:
Grand Sierra Resort will begin canceling reservations on March 22 and all reservations will be canceled no later than March 31. A refund will be issued within 7-10 business days from the date of canceling. If you have any questions about your cancelation after April 10, please contact the hotel with your original confirmation number at 1-800-648-5080.

PARKING INFORMATION
Valet Parking:
All hotel properties offer valet parking on a first come first serve bases (no self-parking at the hotels). Rates are $32 overnight with in/out privileges or $20 for daily parking. The Westin has offered a discount on their overnight pricing at a rate of $26.

Both lots are run by the city of Tampa and are pay by plate garages. The rate is $2 per hour with a max daily/ overnight rate of $12 (no in/out privileges). The daily rate resets each morning at 6am.
