Rooms can be reserved at special DAV guest rates of $105 (standard deluxe), $149 (one-bedroom suite), $189 (two-bedroom suite), or $189 (townhome) per night plus applicable taxes. Call 877-649-3600 and ask for the DAV Department of Utah room block, or visit newparkresort.com to make reservations. Rates are available five days before and five days after the event for those who want to stay longer while visiting the area. Local attractions include four golf courses, pickleball courts, bike trails, downtown shopping, museums, an outlet mall and Utah Olympic Park.
Cost for the event is $75 per person, which includes breakfast and dinner. Dinner choices are prime rib, pan-seared salmon or blackened chicken with orange sauce.
