DAV supports H.R. 438, the PFC Joseph P. Dwyer Peer Support Program Act.

This bill would establish a grant program to provide financial support to eligible entities for creating peer-to-peer mental health programs specifically designed for veterans.

The proposed program would include 24/7 mental health support, group and individual meetings facilitated by trained veteran peer specialists and adherence to specific standards to ensure quality care.
