DAV’s youth scholarship program, established in 2000, is renamed for DAV life member and former VA Secretary Jesse Brown. Since its inception, the Jesse Brown Memorial Youth Scholarship Program has awarded over $1,340,000 in scholarships to DAV youth volunteers.

Through its DraftKings SERVES program, DraftKings is donating $50,000 to help fuel the DAV Transportation Network, which provides no-cost rides to and from VA medical appointments for ill and injured veterans. Volunteer drivers provide more than 230,000 rides annually, helping veterans access the medical care they’ve earned.
