The Phoenix veterans community demonstrated strong local engagement recently by organizing a successful street cleanup, collecting 12 bags of around the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center in the city. This community beautification effort brought together over 20 volunteers, including veterans, their families and dedicated partners.

The initiative was supported by DAV Chapter 1 in Phoenix, led by Chapter Adjutant Michael Koenig.
