Veterans Benefits Help

DAV helps more than 1 million veterans every year. DAV benefits advocates, who are all disabled veterans themselves, act as attorneys in fact for veterans. At no cost to the veteran, family member or survivor, DAV helps connect them with the disability, employment, education and healthcare benefits they’ve earned. Employment Resources

The journey from injury to recovery is not complete until a veteran is able to find meaning in his or her life. For those who are able, that means getting back to work to care for their families. As the nation winds down from more than a decade of war, thousands are making the transition from military to civilian life. DAV is committed to ensuring that the men and women who stood up for America have the tools, resources and opportunities they need to competitively enter the job market and secure meaningful employment. DAV recognizes the value, talent, education and work ethics that veterans add to the workforce. Entrepreneurship

DAV is committed to empowering entrepreneurs in the veteran and military connected community, including spouses, to achieve their maximum potential. DAV Patriot Boot Camp provides founders with a network of support, resources and mentorship as they pursue the American Dream their sacrifices make possible. Want to Give Back?

DAV offers a wide range of opportunities to assist our nation’s heroes. Volunteer to transport veterans to and from their VA medical appointments, help at a VA facility or assist veterans in your local community. DAV also provides $110,000 annually in scholarships to youth volunteers who augment healthcare in VA facilities and undertake individual projects to support veterans in DAV’s name.
