What is GivingTuesday?

GivingTuesday is a global day of giving back for the causes you care about most. It’s a special day for our community to say “thank you” to the men and women who served our country—and returned home forever changed. After everything veterans have sacrificed on our behalf, GivingTuesday is our chance to be there for them.

Why DAV?

DAV’s mission is to provide a lifetime of support—at no cost—for veterans of all generations and their families, caregivers and survivors. Since DAV does not receive federal funding, we wouldn’t be able to assist our nation’s heroes without the generosity of caring individuals who share our mission of supporting those who have sacrificed so much to protect our freedoms. GivingTuesday donations are so critical, because what we raise during this global day of giving helps fund the essential services veterans depend on all year long.
