RecruitMilitary and DAV First All Veteran Career Fair – June 26

DAV and RecruitMilitary are standing at the ready to execute their inaugural All Veteran Career Fair in Washington D.C., scheduled for June 26, 11 – 3 p.m.

So far, 48 exhibitors seeking job candidates have registered for the event, according to the official RecruitMilitary website.

Prior to the career fair’s start, USAA is slated to present a seminar at 10 a.m. titled “Practical Advice for All Stages of Retirement Planning.” The seminar’s purpose is to help veterans and their spouses make planning decisions for eventual retirement.

“I’m eagerly anticipating our inaugural All Veteran Career Fair with our partners at RecruitMilitary,” said National Employment Director Jeff Hall. “This is the first of 65 events we’ve scheduled for 2014 and our goal is to link as many veterans and their spouses with viable employment options at each one.”

The career fair will be held at FedEx Field located at 1600 FedEx Way Landover, Md., 20785.

Registration is free for veterans and their spouses.
