Veterans Day 2020

Each year at Veterans Day, a number of restaurants and retailers offer discounts and special promotions for those who have served in uniform.

This year, Veterans Day falls on Wednesday, Nov. 11. Some promotions may be scheduled to run through the weekend and on the observed holiday. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, check with your local locations for the most up-to-date information.

BJ’s Restaurant: free Meal on Veterans Day, up to $14.95, plus a free soft drink

Brick House Tavern + Tap: Veterans’ parties of up to four receive 20% off their meal (not including alcoholic beverages), with a valid ID. Please visit their website for details.

Chili’s Grill & Bar: All veterans and active duty military personnel can get a free meal from a special menu on Veteran’s Day, Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at all participating Chili’s Grill and Bar restaurants. Cracker Barrel: Cracker Barrel will offer all U.S. military veterans a complimentary slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola® Cake when dining at any Cracker Barrel location nationwide.

Famous Dave’s: Military personnel and Veterans are being offered a free meal on November 11th at participating locations only. Valid for dine-in, to go and online ordering. Houlihan’s: Veterans, active duty military and military families get $10 off a $30 food purchase at participating locations on November 11. IHOP: Free Red, White and Blue pancakes. Veterans and Active/Reserve service members are invited with family and friends to make to-order breakfast at IHOP on Wednesday, November 11, which includes a free pancake offer until 7 p.m.

DAV 5K

DAV’s 5K Walk, Roll, Run or Ride to Honor America’s Veterans event will take place as a virtual challenge Saturday, Nov. 7, that participants can take on from anywhere in the country. The DAV 5K is designed to raise awareness of the challenges ill and injured veterans face every day as well as to bring communities together to honor veterans and their families.
