The Disabled American Veterans joins the White House Commission on Remembrance in encouraging Americans to pause where they are at 3:00 p.m. on Memorial Day to honor the sacrifices of our fallen and their families.
The Commission, established by Congress in 2000, is an independent, non-partisan government agency, also promotes acts of remembrance throughout the year and asks citizens to pay our debt of gratitude in memory of those who died in service to our country by giving something back to the Nation.
