Disabled American Veterans, is dedicated to a single purpose: building better lives for our nation’s disabled veterans and their families.
DAV offers a wide variety of programs and initiatives to serve those who served. Assistance is provided in various ways; helping veterans obtain earned benefits, transportation to/from hospitals, relief from disasters, and educating the public about disabled veterans’ issues.
The Harley-Davidson Foundation is helping DAV bring benefits, education, and counseling into the communities of our veterans through the DAV Mobile Service Office (MSO). The DAV MSO program is available free of charge to all veterans and their families and is staffed by highly trained professional counselors who are skilled experts in developing and prosecuting veterans’ claims.
In 2007, DAV will be in over 600 communities providing veterans and their families an advocate who will work on their behalf to ensure they receive the benefits available to them.
