COLD SPRING, Ky. — DAV (Disabled American Veterans) is looking for injured veterans who may be interested in sled hockey. DAV, which is headquartered nationally near Cincinnati, along with its partner, the USA Warriors Ice Hockey Program, Inc., based in Rockville MD just outside Washington DC, are conducting a free Introduction to Sled Hockey Clinic for injured veterans at the Ice Haus at Nationwide Arena in Dublin, Ohio, Jan. 31.
All injured veterans interested in the sport of sled hockey are invited to attend this free event. No prior experience is necessary and equipment and coaching will be provided.
Members of the USA Warriors Ice Hockey Program will be in attendance to assist with the clinic. Attendees should arrive at NOON to be fitted for equipment, and be ready to be on the ice by 12:45 p.m.

The Columbus Bluejackets will honor the USA Warriors at their Jan. 30th, 7 p.m. game versus the Washington Capitals at Nationwide Arena.
The USA Warriors Ice Hockey Program, Inc., founded in 2008, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization that offers rehabilitative sled and standing ice hockey programs to injured, ill and disabled service members and veterans. Many of the USA Warriors players are patients at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Thanks to a recent partnership with DAV and a grant from the DAV Charitable Service Trust, the USA Warriors have expanded their services to help more injured veterans in their rehabilitation.
