 Through workplace giving and payroll deductions to the DAV Charitable Service Trust, it’s easier than ever to stand up for our country’s true heroes. You support creative and innovative efforts to build better lives for disabled veterans and their families. You ensure our wounded warriors receive our sincere gratitude, and at the same time promote a genuinely patriotic cause.
Also called employee fund drives – workplace campaigns are charitable solicitations of people conducted at their place of work.
Federal government employees can sign up through the Combined Federal Campaign, the largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign.
There are also similar campaigns for state and local government employees, and many corporations offer matching gift or other workplace giving programs.
When you choose payroll deduction to support the Trust’s efforts, you simply specify the amount you want to give and your payroll department takes care of the rest, giving you a tax receipt for your records.
For corporate workers, if your employer awards matching funds, the Trust receives an added donation thanks to your participation.
The CFC is the charitable workplace fund drive conducted by the U.S. Government for all federal employees - military, civilian, and postal.

Help us help America's disabled veterans and their families by maximizing the impact of your gift. You can multiply your gifts to DAV by participating in a matching gift program. Many companies, associations and foundations with which you may be affiliated will allow you, as an employee, member or trustee, to take advantage of their philanthropic efforts. It's easy to participate.
In addition to matching employee's monetary gifts to charitable organizations like the DAV, some companies support their employee's personal involvement in voluntary programs to qualified organizations. Therefore, if you're a volunteer involved with DAV's Veteran Administration Voluntary Service Program or a volunteer driver in DAV's National Transportation Network, you may be able to extend the effectiveness of your volunteer efforts through your employer.
First, check with your human resources, employee benefits office or community relations office to determine if your company matches employee charitable donations and/or voluntary efforts. If so, follow these easy steps:
- Request a copy of the Employee Matching Gift form. Review the program guidelines to see if DAV is eligible to receive matching gifts.
- Fill out and sign the employee portion of the form.

DAV will process the form and send it back to your employer. The company will send its matching donation directly to the DAV Charitable Service Trust.
