National Commander Robert T. Reynolds led the Harley’s Hereos® program into the
2008 Rolling Thunder® Ride for Freedom in Washington, D.C. from May 23-25.
Reynolds, a longtime motorcycle enthusiast and strong supporter of Harley’s Hereos®,
rode in the 21st annual event, which is meant to raise awareness of the POW/MIA
cause.
DAV National Service Officers were on hand to assist veterans with their earned
benefits and spread the message of DAV’s service to sick and disabled veterans.
The 1.3 million-member Disabled American Veterans, a non-profit organization founded
in 1920 and chartered by the U.S. Congress in 1932, represents this nation’s disabled
